My first photos with Leica M11

First impressions with the Leica M11
After careful consideration, a lot of research and advice from specialist retailers, I bought the Leica M11. I was warned that this is not a basic camera and the margin of error is very high. Well, that may be.
I started with photography in 1975 with the "Beirette SL100" from Freital in Saxony Germany.
When I was 14, I got my first analogue SLR camera, without a light meter, without autofocus, so everything was manual.
That's how I learned photography. Many cameras EXA 1b, Practica L2, Practica BX20 followed. After the reunification of Germany I was able to buy more cameras. It continued with Minolta Dynax 7000i, Canon EOS 20D, Canon EOS 1D (several versions). Meanwhile, I also use the newer versions of the Canon EOS R series. So the EOS R, EOS R5 and the EOS R3.
However, for high-quality shots I also use the Fujifilm GFX 50R cameras, then the GFX 100 and also the GFX 100s.
You could say I've taken quite a few photos so far. Made a lot of mistakes, but also learned from them. Many orders successfully completed and the pictures distributed worldwide, wherever my photos were wanted.
And now come back to a rangefinder camera? Yes, and with growing enthusiasm.
But see for yourself the pictures I took with the Leica M11. With a lot of joy and great passion.
Yes, there are many shots that lack the right focus, because you are only human and not as fast as the electronics of an automatic focus setting. Nevertheless, even with the Canon EOS R3, I have many pictures that just didn't focus on what I needed, but something.
Also, the image quality of the Leica is not as high compared to the medium format cameras from Fujifilm GFX 100 and GFX 100s, which is to be expected.
After a month I can say that the rather expensive camera with the (so far) 2 lenses has tempted me to take pictures again for fun. I do my work with Canon and Fujifilm cameras. However, I have already received commissions and orders with photographs from the Leica.
Let's see how this will develop further.
My new rangefinder camera and my first camera.
Thank you for watching!
